05 Sep What’s New In the Heart of Christchurch
It’s an exciting time in central Christchurch, come and visit the central city to find out what’s new!
The city is buzzing with the opening of new retail precincts, the new bars and restaurants in The Terrace, new cafes around Cashel Street and new parking buildings in the city.
The terrace is previously known as the strip, fronting onto the Avon River and just a short walk from the Bridge of Remembrance. The riverfront itself has been enhanced by the addition of a set of steps designed to encourage people to sit and relax, and enjoy the buzz of the city going on around. The Terrace is now home to the Terrace Tavern, Amazonita, Bangalore Polo Club, Craft Embassy, Botanic, Amaterrace Teppanyaki and other bars and restaurants.
Did you know Christchurch is ranked alongside New York, Barcelona, Berlin and London as one of the street art capitals of the world in a new Lonely Planet Book! Check our these most Instagrammble spots of Christchurch: Watch This Space! Do it for the ‘Gram’ #Christchurch!
